DOCUMENTATION
The teacher sent us to do some work on Christmas around the world.
First, we split to find information about how Christmas is celebrate in Spain. Looking for information, we were very struck by how Christmas is celebrate in Egypt, Sweden and Kenya. We also add it to work.
After, we started making gifts to put them under our values tree. To make the gifts, we had to need shoe boxes and wrapping paper.
In these photos, you can see the steps we take to build our values tree.
- First, we cut five or six thick strips of cardboard, of different sizes and wrap them in paper.
- Second, on each cardboard strip we write a different value in the language that we want.
- Next, we draw a star and cut it.
- Then, we place the larger strip down and the smaller one up, so that it has a tree shape.
- Finally, we join the tree with strings of rope, we hit the star and put colored lights around it.
Here we are with the tree.
Second, we decided to make Santa Lucia hats. Now we will explain to you how we did it.
- First, we will fold a cardboard in the shape of a cone.
- Second, we will draw two stars on the gold cardboard.
- Next, we will cut the stars.
- Then, we will stick the two stars on the cone.
- Finally, we can put on our hat and enjoy Christmas.
Finally, we explain our work to our classmates. To make it more fun, we dress up as Christmas in different countries and each one of us explained how Christmas is in a different country.
Aina and Aina Maria explained Christmas in Sweden and dressed as Santa Lucia. Then, Victoria dressed as an Egyptian and explained how Christmas is there. Maria, dressed in kenya clothes to explain how they spend Christmas. Finally, Ana dressed as mother Noel and explained Christmas in Spain.
This experience was incredible!
