Recycled Toy

Describe your toy:

-It's a Bowling game (Game number 1)

-It is for children from 3 years old to 12 years old

-It's a Ring game (Game number 2)

-It is for children from 3 years old to 12 years old 

I have used different materials. You need:

-Cartons             -Scissors                 -Two Cardboard              -12 Bottle caps

-Rule                  -Cutter                    -One ball                         -12 Plastic bottles

-Pencil                -Colored paints      -Glue                               -Paintbrush

-Ruber                -Bowl            

Making it is easy:

-First of all, you have to paint the bottle caps.

 

-Then, you need to cut with scissors the cardboard into strips (12 strips).

 

 -Third, you have to put a number on the bottle strip.

-After that, you add two fingers of water to the bottle and then you put colorant inside.

-Finally, you catch the ball and you can play with your game.

For the second game:

-First, you cut the carton in circles to make the disk 

-Second, you paint the circle with colors, for example gold

Finally, you can throw the golden disk to the bottles 

Questions:

1-Can children help you making this toy? What can they do?

-Yes, they can. They can paint the bottle caps with different kinds of colors and also, they can cut with the scissors the cardboards.

2-I have chosen it because...

-I have chosen it because both games (bowling game and ring game) are very funny and with them, children can enjoy their time, play with their friends and learn the numbers. Also with those games, children can do sport and learn some colors.

3-This toy helps children develop the following skills:

-They can develop social skills (relate to other classmates)

-They can develop motor skills (by doing sport)

-They can develop cognitive skills (through numbers and colors)

4-I think recycling is important because...

I think recycling is important because it's good for the environment, if you recycle, you help other people, nature, animals...

For example: if you recycle paper (paper of notebooks, of magazines, of newspaper), we don't need to cut a lot of trees at year. 

Another example: if you recycle plastic bottles or glass bottles, and you don't throw it into the forest, then animals won't get trapped in those bottles.

These are some examples about how important is recycling for us.
